In 2004 I started making candles and decorated baskets just for fun. I wanted to open a candle business, but with 2 small kids it didn’t work out at that time.

August of 2018 I was admitted into the hospital, diagnosed with Asthma and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. In September I started praying about continuing toward my nursing degree. During this time the idea of starting a candle business kept coming to mind.

I knew I wanted a clean burning candle that didn’t contain harmful chemicals, give me a headache, agitate my asthma or affect my family. I also wanted to help encourage others who were going through difficult times.

By combining my love for God, Scriptures and Mason jars similar to the ones my grandma used when canning, our candles were created.

After much prayer, Courageous Faith Candles was founded May 21st, 2019.  I do not consider myself the Owner of Courageous Faith Candles, God owns this business, and I am the Co-Owner, which is why I'm always saying "We".

Everything I have is all due to God! How has God blessed you? Feel free to share on our page or drop us a message, we love to hear from our customers!

It has been awesome to watch God work in this business, and I can’t wait to see what he does with our future!

Thanks for stopping by and checking us out!!

ABOUT OUR CANDLES

Our candles are made from 100% soy wax. Soy wax is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and renewable. Soy not only burns cleaner than paraffin but also cooler increasing the life of your candle!

Our wicks are lead and zinc free cotton wicks.

All our fragrances are phthalate-free, not tested on animals and are Free from Prop 65 ingredients.

We take great pride in making our candles.

Our candles are made in small batches and are hand-poured.

We encourage you to reuse or recycle your jars. Soy wax washes out with soap and warm water, and then your jar is ready to be used again!
